With an aim to improve efficiency at the borders, railway authority will stop translation service in Dostyk and Altynkol from March 1 2020 following KTZ order. According to Customs Codes of Republic of Kazakhstan, all attached documents of the cargo shall be in one of Kazakhstan working language i.e Kazakh or Russian. Therefore when passing and transiting via Dostyk or Altynkol all documents must be prepared in Kazakh or Russian language.
